Superbat AU idea: Holiday at the Kent's
Dec. 6th, 2018 10:15 amStarted to think about Bruce and Clark having an outfit swap, but then the notion of Bruce Wayne in anything even vaguely resembling overalls smacked me like an overbearing helicopter mom’s minivan speeding through a residential district because her kid is late for their afterschool SAT prep class – and the strangest part is I don’t even know if it *hurts*. I’m just momentarily baffled.
If anything, Bruce would probably be fine with it. Poor Alfred is the one that might need to sit down with his head between his knees for a few minutes.
(Which brings another good idea to mind: Holiday dinner at the Kent Farm with the near entirety of the Batfam dragged over despite the fact that Bruce Wayne owns, like, four mansions all across the world. Bruce and Clark would only start to mention it, and Ma Kent would give them such a look that when she says “You’ll be here at 10am sharp” all either of them can do is nod and say “Yes, ma'am.” while Pa Kent snorts from his favorite ancient recliner chair in the living room - I’m convinced all Dads have one.
I wanna know how Damian Wayne would react. My bet? Brat for the first five minutes, then the rest of the time he’s following after Ma Kent asking what he can help her with next, and loving it. He probably asks Bruce when they’re coming *back*.
…and I just want Jason next to a cow. Don’t ask me why, I just need it. He’s not be the best people person.
